A metal sun sculpture that is mounted on the wall of the deck

This is one of my favorite pictures. The shadows are cool, the blurry face is cool and the wavy metal arms are way cool. I wonder if other photographers feel bad when they take a cool picture, but know deep down inside that the majority of the coolness is just the thing that was there in the first place. It seems like sometimes a photographer can make something that is boring and lame into something that is really cool, but other times, the photographer takes a picture of something that is already cool, and now it's still cool, but it's a photograph instead of a thing. Okay, that's all.
